How long have you been making music?
음악을 만든지 얼마나 되었습니까
처음 제 컴퓨터에 프로그램을 설치하고 첫 음악을 만든 지 15년쯤 된 거 같아요
I think it's been about 15 years since I first installed a program on my computer and started making music
Oh wow, that's a pretty long time!
와, 꽤 긴 시간이군요!
What inspired you to start music?
무엇이 음악을 시작하도록 영감을 주었나요?
어린 시절부터 여러 형태로 자연스럽게 다양한 장르의 음악을 접했어요
Since I was young, I naturally encountered various genres of music
그러던 중 20살이 되던 해 평범한 일상에서 지루함을 느꼈던 거 같아요. 어느 날 친구들과 동네 PC방에서 게임을 하던 중 '아 진짜 재미없다 무언가 특별함이 필요해'라고 생각했던 거 같아요
When I turned 20, I felt bored in my daily life. One day, I was playing a game with my friends in a PC room, and I said, "Oh, this isn't fun. I think I need something special"
그래서 옆에 있던 친구에게 "우리 음악이나 만들어보자"라고 말하고 집으로가 프로그램을 설치하고 음악을 만들어보기 시작했어요
So I told my friend, "Let's make music". I went home, set up a music program on my computer, and started making music.
That's a really cool way to start music.
와우 음악을 시작하는 좋은 방법이네요 ^^
What was your favourite song to write?
가장 좋아하는 쓰는 노래 뭐예요?
제가 좋아하는 노래는 매번 갱신되는데 항상 최근에 작업한 걸 제일 좋아했던 거 같아요. 지금 현제 제가 만든 노래 중 하나를 뽑자면 최근에 나온 'BBAKKA!'인 거 같아요
My favourite song usually changes, I tend to like the songs I have most recently worked on. So, right now I'd say my favourite song is "BAKKA" which came out recently.
That's a great song, is there anything that made it stand out for you?
정말 좋은 노래네요, 특별히 눈에 띄는 노래가 있나요?
일단 평소 마음속에 있던 저의 에너지가 잘 분출된 것 같고 조금은 속 시원한 느낌이에요.
그리고 무엇보다 공연할 때 신나는 것 같아요
I managed to convey my feelings well in this song but more than anything I really enjoy performing it!
Do you have any upcoming projects?
앞으로 진행할 프로젝트가 있어요?
현재 나의 음악 환경이 많이 바뀌었어요.
6년 동안 Hi-Lite Records 소속으로 활동을 하다 회사가 문을 닫았고 지금은 고향인 부산에 내려와서 지내고 있어요.
My creative environment has changed recently with Hi-Lite record closing its doors after 6 years, I've moved back to my hometown of Busan.
부산에 있는 친구들과 Rolling Cash라는 Team(Label)을 만들어 활동을 시작했어요.
I've recently started a new label with my friends in Busan called 'Rolling Cash'.
We look forward to seeing what Rolling Cash will show us!
Rolling Cash가 어떤 계획을 세웠는지 기대하고 있습니다!
What are your future plans for your career?
음악 경력을 위한 미래 계획은 무엇인가요?
발매한 음원들과 앨범은 많지만 정규앨범은 아직 발매되지 않았어요.
There are a lot of songs and EPs released, but I haven't released a full album yet.
지금까지의 저를 정리해 봄과 동시에 앞으로의 저를 보여줄 수 있는 정규앨범을 발매하는 게 목표예요.
My goal is to release a full-length album that summarizes my past-self and shows my future-self.
그리고 해외 투어를 좀 더 많이 다녀보고 싶어요.
I would also like to go on more tours overseas.
지난 해외 투어들이 많이 그리워요. 음악을 하면서 가장 행복했던 순간들인 거 같거든요.
I miss the last overseas tours a lot. I think these were the happiest moments while doing music.
바람이 있다면 Rolling Cash 멤버들과 함께 투어를 돌고 싶습니다.
If I could have a wish I would want to go on a tour with the Rolling Cash members.
We hope to see you on some overseas tours soon!

시간이 많이 지났지만 런던, 그리고 유럽투어 때 만났던 팬분들 많이 보고 싶습니다.
기회가 된다면 런던에 다시 가서 만나고 싶어요.
It's been a long time, but I miss all the fans I met in London and Europe.
If I get the chance, I want to go to London to meet you all again.
요즘 세상에 많은 슬픈 소식이 들리지만 다 이겨내고 항상 행복하게 웃길 진심으로 바랍니다.
I hear a lot of sad news in the world these days, but I sincerely hope we can overcome it all and always smile.
