



The seminal HallyuPopFest London 2022 will be making its first impression on a UK audience next weekend. Following its impressive success as one of Southeast Asia’s largest music festivals, they HallyuWave has come to London to delight fans far and wide. The event promises to be an indulgent and jampacked two days of celebrating Korean culture and music at the OVO Arena Wembley on 9-10 July.
Headliners and K-Pop superstars CHEN and KAI will serve as the respective Saturday and Sunday headliners. With over 1.3 million unique monthly Spotify listeners each, their impact on the K-Pop scene both as soloists and as members of the revered male idol group EXO is unparalleled. Bringing their expansive global reach and charming stage presence to the OVO Arena Wembley, both headliners promise an unforgettable performance. They are joined by a host of revered K-Pop acts to round out a dazzling spectrum of K-Pop over the festival’s two days.
Joining CHEN on Saturday is a who’s who of veritable K-Pop acts, featuring the effortlessly charismatic ASTRO, the brooding orchestral EVERGLOW and breakout MAMAMOO star Hwa Sa. Also joining the lineup will be hip-hop-leaning P1Harmony, viral “Love Me Like That” singer Sam Kim and the climactic ONEUS. After a day teeming with K-Pop's biggest names, Sunday’s supporting acts pave the way for poppy K-Pop Dance King KAI to deliver his headliner performance. Joined by alluring boy group SF9, tropical peppy all-girl band Kep1er and the retrofuturistic CIX the day will be packed with, vibrant and exciting performances. Completing the line-up is infectious boyband CRAVITY, girl crush flagbearers Weeekly, and acoustic loving heartthrob Paul Kim.
With such a far-ranging and impressive line-up, HallyuPopFest promises to be an electrifying and unmissable experience for any K-Pop fan. Both established and burgeoning artistes promise to deliver breathtaking shows, that will complement the overall HallyuPopFest experience.
The event is also a hosting Red Carpet event, a Hi-Wave Meet and Greet session and Munhwa Broadcasting Company (MBC) will be hosting HallyuTown over the duration of HallyuPopFest. HallyuTown aims to support Korean businesses finding their way into the on/offline global market, hosted by MBC, Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Business, Rural Affairs (KOFCA) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
A select group of excellent products from small and medium-sized Korean enterprises will be featured. These stalls have been chosen because of their innovation and quality, with each looking to target the global market in the upcoming years. HallyuTown welcomes attendees to discover K-themed products through its unique, immersive curation.
